1. The Service

BuyBox is a technology marketplace for consumer electronics, including smartphones, laptops, tablets, accessories, portable power solutions, and refurbished devices.

• This website is an informational landing page that introduces BuyBox
• All browsing of full catalogues, ordering, and payment happens inside the BuyBox mobile app
• Products are supplied by verified sellers and, where applicable, BuyBox-managed inventory

2. Accounts

• You must create an account in the app to place orders
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account
• You must provide accurate information, including a valid delivery address and phone number
• We may suspend or close accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms

3. Orders & Payments

• Orders are placed and paid for inside the BuyBox app
• Payments are processed securely by trusted third-party payment providers; BuyBox does not store your full card details
• An order is confirmed when you receive an in-app confirmation
• We may cancel and refund orders affected by pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud

4. Pricing

• All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) inside the app
• Sample prices shown on the website are indicative starting prices only; the app always shows the actual current price
• Prices may change without notice, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed

5. Delivery

• Same-day delivery is available in selected locations where eligible
• Estimated delivery times are shown during checkout in the app
• Order tracking is available through the BuyBox app
• Delivery estimates are made in good faith but are not guaranteed where events outside our control cause delays

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled under our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Marketplace Role & Product Conditions

• Some products are sold by independent verified vendors on the Platform
• Product condition (new or renewed/refurbished) is clearly stated on each listing
• Renewed devices are professionally tested and verified before listing
• BuyBox facilitates the transaction and supports dispute resolution between customers and vendors

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or fraudulent transaction
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false order information
• Resell access to the Platform or scrape its content without permission

9. Intellectual Property

The BuyBox name, logo, website, app, and all related content are owned by BuyBox Technologies Ltd. or its licensors and may not be used without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyBox is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable Nigerian consumer protection law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
